Since the late 1800s, organisations worldwide have chosen to hand supreme control to an Advisory Board, so as to cement the safety
of the future of the companies by way of [individual investors]. For most companies, “The Board” holds ultimate responsibility for the management and control of the organisation.

The Board wields the authority and responsibility for many factors, some
of which include: all long-term strategic decisions for the progress of any company,
the consequences of any long-term decisions, the interests of the company’s employees
and the need to foster the company’s
business relationships with suppliers, customers and others.

For the members of staff of many companies, The Board is often spoken about but never seen. Though we know The Board to have existed long before,  the piece photographed here dates back to c. 2020, and is the single most accurate representation of what we can understand the board to have looked like through the ages.
